Today my good neighbor Doggie was walking by with her Mom.
I invited her over to play nice and loud so the entire neighborhood could hear me,
"Ruff, Ruff. RUFFFFF. RUFF."
Mom was banging on the wall and yelling, "Quiet down Edel!"
Mom was making quite a racket if you really want to know.
My neighbor yelled back at me.
I quieted down to hear what she said.
I just love neighborly Doggie communication!

Mom loves you. Maybe she didn't want you to bother the neighbors!
May I ask why you were shouting for the whole neighborhood to hear? Unless you were singing carols, a soft voice is much better.
